As boxing's greatest left us so, a few days later , did "Mr. Hockey" Gordie Howe .
If there was a monetary value placed on his skill , loyalty , toughness , strength , championship
accomplishment , longevity and human goodness , the combined organized professional sports
world could not begin to pay it . A strong Canadian prairie wind blows good bye to it's favorite
hockey son .

Another legend has passed. May Gordie Howe rest in peace and may God bless & comfort his family & friends.

[attachment=0]IMG.jpg Terrible Ted Lindsay . Along with Gordie Howe and Sid Able formed
the Detroit Red Wings famous "production line". Lindsay was a ferocious hockey player of small
stature (5'8" and 160#) who's great skill and leadership guided the Wings to several Stanley Cups.
He also was the first professional athlete to help form the first players union in NHL hockey. A dedicated
fitness buff into his 90's Lindsay left us yesterday . RIP
