MILO STEINBORN performed the following lifts in Philadelphia: one-arm snatch – 220 lbs., two arm clean and jerk – 275 lbs., one-arm clean and jerk 240 lbs.
MILO squatted 553 lb without a squat rank. He went on to popularize the squat throughout America.
MILO began his professional wrestling career in 1922 and wrestled over 300 matches in America. At the 1950 Chicago World’s Fair, at the age of 57, MILO lifted an 800 lb. elephant. He was an amazing strength athlete and a force to be reckoned with.
